Sending Off Nine Emperor Gods

Friday, October 3rd, 2014

The Nine Emperor Gods Festival for this year has concluded with the farewell ritual where the deities were returned via the waterways. These photos were taken early this morning of disciples at the bank of Kinta River for the ceremony to send off the Nine Emperor Gods and Goddess Dou Mu. This was also the spot for receiving the deities on the eve of the Nine Emperor Gods Festival ten days ago.
